Just think about it......

There are many things that we may not like about our lives or the place in which we live. The good news is that change is possible and change can be real. Sure, we have the ability to make our own choices because that is the way God made us but are we really capable of "changing" ourselves? We have all been taught the need to avoid destructive things in our lives such as drugs, alcohol, selfishness, prejudice and many more things the world says is "cool". Do we really make the connection or do we just go through the motions?

The world in which we live makes these choices hard and "true" change impossible, but the one and only true God can and will lead and guide us through life’s journey. Now we have a "choice" to make........

Here is the key to change........IT IS THROUGH AN INDIVIDUAL AND REAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! This is not something that you just do on Sunday but something that we do EACH and EVERY day of our lives.

The Youth Ministry at CHBC is specifically designed with your "relationship" with Jesus in mind. We know and see the challenges that you face every day. In order for change to be possible and change to be real there is a need to you to seek out God’s direction for your life. This all starts with giving HIM our lives and accepting His free gift of salvation and asking HIM to come into your heart.(Ephesians 2:8-9) After we "decide" to have a relationship with HIM then we have to study HIS WORD, the Bible. (Romans 10:17) We need to allow HIS WORD to lead us and guide us in each and every step of our life. If you love the Lord with ALL of your heart, ALL of your mind and ALL of your soul then and only then will we change.

The Youth Ministries at CHBC is centered on Jesus and we strive to build relationships not only with God but also with our fellow students lifting them up and loving one another. We have trips, events, outings that incorporate food, fun and fellowship while we learn more about Jesus.
