Ladies Ministry

The Ladies Ministry is open to all women of CHBC. The WMU meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The meetings are held at the fellowship hall at CHBC.

The monthly meetings are a time of fellowship with each other. We open with prayer, dinner, devotion and fellowship. There is also a short business meeting at the close of each meeting. On occasion we will have special music and/or special speakers.

We have a number of ministries that we "sponsor" as outreach for our church. They are as follows:

Baby Showers
Bridal Showers
Bereavement Dinners for members and their families in the event of the loss of loved ones.
Homebound and Shut In Meals
Assisting as Special Needs arise within the church.

Throughout the year we have a variety of Special Events for the ladies as well.

Valentines Banquet in February
Mother-Daughter Banquet in May
Ladies Extravaganza in August-Biggest event of the WMU-We have Special Music and Special Speakers at this event. Our ladies choir will also be singing. There is a seated lunch served and door prizes awarded. Our sister churches are invited to attend this wonderful event.
Ladies Retreat will be scheduled in the fall. This will be a time of food, fun, fellowship and worship.
